Calcium-Aluminum Alloy
Calcium-aluminum master alloy is the standard route for introducing calcium into lead, aluminum and steel melts where pure calcium is impractical to handle.
CHM supplies Ca-Al in calcium contents from 10% to 75%, cast as ingot, waffle plate or briquette with tightly controlled iron and silicon levels.
The alloy is widely used in maintenance-free lead-calcium battery grids, in ladle metallurgy for inclusion modification, and in aluminum casting alloys for structure control.
