Magnesium-Calcium Alloy
Magnesium-calcium master alloy delivers calcium into a melt in a stable, easily dissolved metallic form, avoiding the handling and yield losses of pure calcium metal.
CHM produces Mg-Ca in standard calcium contents from 5% to 30%, cast as ingot, rod, bar or machined chip, with the calcium distributed uniformly through the magnesium matrix.
Typical uses are grain refinement and oxidation suppression in magnesium alloys, calcium addition in aluminum alloys and steel treatment, and Mg-Ca biomedical and research alloys.
